What's your favorite foreign accent?
I think there's no foreign accent I don't like if it's sufficiently light. A very heavy accent, even if it's French, isn't necessarily pleasant, and a light accent in Arabic or Chinese is lovely. But if I have to pick a favorite, I guess I'll go with Portuguese. The nasal sounds remind me of cats meowing - cute cats. And the Brazilian singers always have these gorgeous husky voices. So Portuguese first, then French, then Japanese is awfully cute.
